Displaced Palestinian and Israeli people

The recent outbreak of the war in Gaza has once again plunged the Palestinian and Israeli regions into chaos. Thousands of Palestinian and Israeli people have been forced to flee their homes and become displaced refugees.

Displaced people face tremendous pressure to survive and lack basic living conditions and security. Many Palestinian and Israeli homes and communities were destroyed in the conflict. Infrastructure such as families, schools, and medical facilities were affected by the war, causing them to lose the basic guarantee of life. Displaced people may be constantly at risk. In fleeing their homes, they may encounter artillery fire, air strikes, and other direct threats of war. Countries should provide more assistance to disaster-stricken areas and ensure that aid materials can be smoothly delivered to the affected people.

When the Palestinian and Israeli people were forced to flee their homes and became innocent victims of the war, the psychological trauma they experienced was extremely profound and cruel. Especially for children and families. They may experience severe anxiety, depression, or even post-traumatic stress disorder. Chronic insecurity and lack of stability can impact their academic, social, and emotional development. Displacement forces people to leave their culture, social roots, and traditions. Such a sense of rupture will make people feel fundamentally unsafe and even more helpless when facing the unknown future.

Conflict often leads to socioeconomic disruption, displaced people may lose their job opportunities, and children and adolescents may be unable to continue to receive normal education due to conflict.

The displaced Palestinian and Israeli people should not become victims of geopolitical games. The international community needs to work together to create a safe, stable, and sustainable living environment for these innocent victims through cooperation, dialogue, and consultation. Each of us has the responsibility to pay attention to this humanitarian crisis and call on governments and international organizations to act together to bring peace and hope to this group of people who have lost their homes.
